Study For The Virgin Atlantic 2 Certificate At Oxford House College

Studying for the Virgin Atlantic level 2 course at Oxford House College opens paths deeper into the travel industry!

 

Our ‘VA2’ course builds on the ‘VA1’ course by teaching more advanced skills in Fares and Ticketing, for example in planning and booking more complex travel arrangements.

 

The training includes:

 

  • Pricing unit principles, including One Way and Return sub-journey checks
  • Calculating fares, applying Higher Intermediate Fares (HIFs), Circle Trip Minimum Rules (CTM) and Backhaul Check (BHC) rules
  • Constructing normal and special fares with Surface sectors, open jaws, side trips and stopover charges
  • Assessing multi-sector fares for mixed class itineraries
  • Foreign currency fares.

 

The entry requirement for ‘VA2’ is a ‘Virgin Atlantic Level 1 (VA1) Certificate.
