Focusing on the international tour operation industry, the Advanced Diploma in Tourism Management is designed to develop your independent research and study skills which will be required when working at senior managerial level within the industry. The course aims to provide you with a sound understanding of the managerial, decision making and leadership aspects of the international tourism sector.
Work Placement/Internship (optional)
The work placement provides you with the opportunity to transfer the knowledge acquired during the DTAM/ADTM into practical business skills which are essential for those seeking to enter into a successful career in the travel and tourism industry. Previous students have gone on to work as tour executives, destinations’ managers, marketing managers and human resources managers.
