Split into three stages - Diploma, Advanced Diploma and BA (Hons) Degree Final Year - you can start at whichever level suits your current qualifications and receive a recognised qualification after each stage. This means you can complete a Diploma in only eight months or a fast-track honours degree in just two years. With the option of a work placement year you can also enhance your CV with vital work-based skills.

 

Hotel Management & Tourism

 

The Diploma level introduces the operational aspects of the international hospitality industry and the underlying principles. The Advanced Diploma builds on these skills whilst developing independent research and study skills. In the Final Year you will learn about the strategic, decision making and leadership aspects required when working at senior managerial level in the industry.

Diploma in Hotel Management

The Diploma in Hotel Management aims to provide students with a broad understanding of the operational aspects of the international hotel industry, and a knowledge of the underlying principles involved. This program has been devised on the basis that students will attend a course of study of not less than 450 hours. Private study will be required over and above this figure. Each of the modules has a 2 and a half hour examination, set and marked by CTHCM.

Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management

The Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management aims to provide an understanding of the managerial, decision making and leadership aspects of the international hotel industry and to develop independent research and study skills which will be required when working at senior managerial level in the industry. The scheme has been devised on the basis that students will attend a course of study of not less than 450 contact hours. Private study will be required over and above this figure. Each of the modules has a 3 hour examination, set and marked by CTHCM.

Entry Requirements

Diploma in Hotel Management

2 'A' Levels plus 4 GCSEs at grades A* - C
plus IELTS 5.5 for non-native English speakers

Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management

Diploma or HNC in a Hotel Management related subject
plus IELTS 5.5 for non-native English speakers

Recognised equivalents of the above qualifications are acceptable.

BSc (Hons) - Final Year

Advanced Diploma or HND in a Hotel Management related subject
plus IELTS 6.0 for non-native English speakers

Recognised equivalents of the above qualifications are acceptable.
