The Comenius-Grundtvig Scheme:
Comenius and Grundtvig are part of the European Lifelong Learning programme. They exist to develop and promote understanding between the countries of the European Union. Comenius focuses on pre-school, primary and secondary education, while Grundtvig focuses on adult learning.
Amongst other activities, Comenius and Grundtvig provide funding for teachers to take part in teacher training activities to enhance their professional development in any of the European participating countries. The aim is to share and improve teaching knowledge and practice and refresh language and methodology skills. Teachers can also form lasting school links and friendships with other teachers and institutions and develop a better understanding of school and further education across Europe.
From up to 2000 Euro for 1 week, 2500 Euro for 2 weeks and up to a maximum of 3000 Euro for 6 weeks.
