Course Times

Full-time

* These full-time courses will run from 12.00pm – 8.00pm, Monday to Friday. (Trainees will start at 10.50am on six mornings to allow for observations)

All other full-time courses run from 10.15am – 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. (Trainees will start at 9.00 on six mornings to allow for observations)

Please note that bank holidays will occur on the following dates: January 1st, March 21st, March 24th, May 5th, May 26th, August 25th, December 25th, December 26th.

Part-time

Part-time CELTA courses run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6.30pm – 9.30 and alternate Saturdays,10.30am – 4.00pm.

Fees

£1140 (including examination fees)

Classes may take place on UK Bank Holidays.You will also attend Teaching Practice classes every 3rd week (possibly starting in Week 1) of the courses on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This means that every 3rd week of the course you will be at College every day from Monday to Friday. You must also attend 10 class observation sessions between 17.20hrs and 18.20hrs during the 16-week course. Some of these observation sessions can be conducted at your own school.

(i) All Overseas Teachers' courses at Oxford House College are eligible for EU Comenius-Grundtvig Funding. Please ask for details or check our information Full details of Comenius-Grundtvig funding application procedures are available on the European Commission's Education and Training website.

(ii) the registration fee for Overseas Teachers' courses is £35. This fee is the same whether you take one course or more.
