CELTA – Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults

Courses for Overseas Teachers of English

Around the world, most English lessons are taught by teachers whose first language is not English. At Oxford House College, London we refer to these teachers as ‘Overseas Teachers of English’. If you are such a teacher, or you are about to enter the profession, you can deepen your knowledge of the subject and develop your teaching skills by choosing one of our Overseas Teachers of English courses.

Our Overseas Teachers of English courses are designed to provide modern, relevant, enjoyable training for teachers whose first language is not English.

Each course covers the latest classroom theories and management thinking. The courses are also eligible for funding under the European Union's Socrates Comenius-Grundtvig scheme, which is part of the EU's Lifelong Learning Programme.
